My good friend from school, Nick, has been travelling around Europe on an architecture scholarship. His journeys happened to bring him by London and so we had the pleasure of hosting him for two nights. It was nice to see an old friend in a new place.
we visited Peter Zumthor's pavillion for the Serpentine Gallery at Hyde Park
walked all around the city
then met up with Dan's friends from school to watch the German v. Turkey match at a German Pub (we're talking schnitzels on the menu, game broadcast in German, and even the waitresses all spoke German to each other)
