our running trail

| |

We didn't know when we moved into our flat that we lived right next to a woodland trail, but we quickly learned and now run/walk it at least 4 times a week.

The trail, officially called the Parkland Walk, is apparently London's longest nature preserve, and it was once the site of an old railway line. This makes the path particularly interesting- you will be running along a beautiful stretch of trees, then come upon an old station platform, then spray painted railway arches, then a bridge spanning a neighborhood street.

Here's just a few photos to give an idea. It actually reminds me of Oregon and makes me miss Eugene a bit.
