Dan has left his big boy job. The new management said he needed to move to SF- no more of this working from your couch stuff- and he turned down their offer. As much as we would like to move back to the city that we hold so dear to our hearts it was time for Dan to move on to something new.
His semi-unemployment has been great as we can now spend every waking minute together, and we can focus on apartment managing which is busy this time of year. But it also has its downsides, or mostly just downside....I feel guilty spending money, and lately we have done a lot of that. For instance:
- new mac book pro
- adobe creative suite premium
- windows for my mac
- 4 new tires
- routine car maintenance
- lots of shopping at Muji and Uniqlo
- Ikea furniture
- health insurance (oh yeah that's a downside, no more dental and vision)
us spending every waking minute together
