For the fourth Dan made a delicious vegan lemon pound cake with red strawberries and blue blueberries, so festive. We met up with friends from school to watch fireworks by the river and eat watermelon. Then Dan and I went off so Dan could experience his first fourth of July firework lighting. Being from California where firecrackers are illegal, he has been deprived of this celebratory ritual...good times.
Oh and our friend gave us sparklers to ride home with, but it turns out it was just incense...boooorrring
