anniversary.

Our anniversary last year had to take a rain check because May 31 happens to be right during review week (which is 10000 times more miserable than finals week). This year however, thanks to furniture studio, we were able to celebrate with an entire Anniversary weekend.

Rachie came to visit which was fantastic, then we headed up to Portland to watch the Timbers play Boca Jr., and they won 3-2!
On the 31, we hiked Mt. Pisgah





We then went to our favorite Thai restaurant for supper. At dinner, Dan told me had a surprise for me at home. Once we got there, he made me stand in the living room blind-folded while he busied about the house (turns out he was packing me an over night bag). He then said, ok let's go, and led me out of the house and back into the car. I tried to guess where we were based on the turns and stops, but could not figure out where we were headed. This is where we finally stopped:


Dan had reserved a night at this Bed and Breakfast, so that I "could have a relaxing night away from the house and not have to worry about homework, dishes, or work". Dan's such a sweet man! It's weird we have been married two years already, I still feel so smitten.
