Boston Visitors- Gilmans!

Dan's parents came to visit for Thanksgiving, and we enjoyed all sorts of sites. 

First we visited Concord, home of the "shot heard round the world", and to Emerson, Thoreau, and Louisa May Alcott.

Then we drove up to Maine and New Hampshire

I prepared a vegan & gluten-free Thanksgiving dinner

And the day after Thanksgiving, we went to Plymouth to pay homage to the Pilgrims and experience a meal that more closely resembles what the Pilgrims actually ate.

Dan's father actually had two sets of ancestors who were passengers on the Mayflower. This lady was one of them (or rather the lady whom the actor was portraying), and boy was she good at not breaking character.
