today is st. nicholas. which means last night was st. nicholas eve, which means we put out our shoes and when we wake up they are filled with goodies!
St. Nicholas was a saint in modern day Turkey, birthplace of my great g-pa. My pa also lived in Holland in his youth, so we celebrate this glorious holiday.
Dan and I listened to xmas elvis.
Made xmas pizza (spinach, tomato, onion, and spiced tofu)
decorated with xmas lights
put out our slippers
and woke up to find them filled!
dan's with dress socks and mine with Eames coasters!
